Abstract

This article analyzes the possibilities of using basalt fiber–based composite reinforcement in geotechnical, hydraulic engineering structures, as well as in buildings and civil engineering constructions. The physical and mechanical properties of the material are compared with those of steel reinforcement, and the most appropriate fields of application are identified.
