Current trends and innovative solutions in the construction sector

Abstract

The article covers issues related to the description of current trends and innovations in the construction
industry. It has been established that the directions of development of the construction sector are largely
focused on social needs, which determines the main vector of evolution of construction companies —
meeting the growing needs of the population and enterprises. It is emphasized that new innovations in
the construction sector are associated with the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning
technologies; the introduction of 3D printing; and the popularization of modular construction.; using
drones and robotic systems on construction sites; using mobile technologies for remote control and
monitoring; integrated digitalization of business processes; dissemination of smart home and smart city
concepts; as well as the introduction of virtual and augmented reality technologies.
