Abstract

This article examines measures to ensure the stability of the earth's crust slopes using geosynthetic materials. The
effectiveness of using geosynthetic materials, which is one of the modern technologies widely used today in the
construction industry of developed countries, for increasing the strength and service life of the railway track using
modern construction materials and ensuring its stability, has been presented. At the same time, ways to improve
the physical and mechanical properties of sandy soils by laying geosynthetic materials on the embankment slopes
and increasing the stability of retaining forces were discussed. The calculation scheme of the forces acting on each
cell of the georage mesh during the reinforcement of the embankment slopes with volumetric georages is also
considered. An analysis of the change in the stability coefficient of slopes during strengthening with volumetric
georates was conducted, taking into account the retaining forces acting on each cell of the georates.
