Abstract

This article presents an improved method for assessing the stability of a jointless track, taking into account the compression ratio of the intermediate rail fasteners Pandrol Fastclip. The analysis of existing calculation methods, including the finite element method (FEM) and the simulation method is carried out. The introduced coefficient k3’ helps to increase the accuracy of calculations of the critical temperature force affecting the stability of the PS. The influence of this coefficient on the stability of the track using Pandrol Fastclip rail fasteners is estimated. This work is aimed at improving the reliability and safety of the railway track.
