Abstract

This article presents systematized information on the classification of furniture and structural materials used
in its manufacture, taking into account the generally accepted classification features used in the theory and
practice of furniture production. Particular attention is paid to the main classification criteria, such as the
functional purpose of the products, design features, raw materials and materials used, as well as technological
features of production. In addition, the work considers approaches to the classification of furniture and related
materials in the context of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity (CN FEA) of the
Republic of Uzbekistan. Examples of coding various types of furniture and materials in accordance with the
CN FEA are given, which contributes to more accurate identification of products in foreign trade operations
and ensures compliance with the requirements of national and international legislation in the field of customs
regulation. Thus, the article is a generalized analysis of classification approaches aimed at simplifying the
processes of accounting, certification and quality control of furniture products, both in the domestic market
and in the field of foreign economic activity.
